Yesterday the APC in Benue State decided to showcase its running mate to its Governorship candidate, Rev. Hyacinth Alia  and the whole state was on a standstill.

The multitude was a sight to behold, stretching beyond the reach of the cameras.

Dr. Samuel Ode was unveiled in Markudi, and the state can't stop talking about the big turnout, which they believe is a testimonial to APC's acceptance in the state; they claim they'll vote for Rev. Hyacinth Alia for governor and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for president.

These rallies has progressed beyond simply testing the microphone; it has moved from a slow match to a quick march as the vibrations emanating from Tinubu's camp have become stronger.

Prominent Nigerian leaders will be honoured at the upcoming Peace Achievers International Award 2022 which has as the theme, "Role of Nigerian the youth, Business & Community leaders, Media & Securty Agencies in the 2023 general elections".

The award is in recognition of their laudable contributions to the development of peace and unity in Nigeria.

Among them include, the governor of Nasarawa state, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, his Delta state counterpart and the vice presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, member representing Ika federal constituency, Honourable Victor Nwokolo, Founder Freelight of Nigeria Youth Foundation, Hajiya Farida Musa Jauro and many more.

Comrade Dennis Osere, the CEO Osere Denco Intergrated Services Limited, Omoku Rivers State, will also be honoured with the Award of Excellence in Peace And Community Development.

Similarly, Barr Henry Uzochukwu, the Managing Director, Stanel Group of Companies will bag Award of Excellence in Peace and Community development/Business Personality of the year

Also, Ikenga Umuawulu the Chairman of Pinnatech Groups will be honoured.

Renowned businessman, Prince Arthur Eze and former member House of Representatives and billionaire businessman, Prince Ned Nwoko will also bag Peace Achievers International Awards 2022.

Scheduled to take place on October 15, 2022 the award ceremony will take place at Sheraton Hotels Abuja at 5pm.

Beyoncé and her team have hit back at a fashion and art designer who claimed the singer never fully paid him for his work on the singer’s newest album, Renaissance.

 

Nusi Quero, a fashion and art designer, alleged Beyoncé’s stylist, Marni Senofonte, is owing him.

He wrote earlier this week in an open letter on Instagram: "As a stylist for B, I really expected the best from you and your team. But since you won’t respond to texts and emails I supposed this is the final venue I can utilize before legal means to settle your outstanding balances, that you’ve owed me and my collaborator for about 3 months.

"Marni paid a 50 percent deposit to me for one of the three jobs, (not the album cover), nothing more, and it took over a month to get it to us."

 

Beyonce and her team have now responded. They explained that Quero was not only paid in full for his work but the payments may have been delayed due to his own bank problems.

 

Beyonce's team said in a statement to Page Six: "It is deeply troubling that designer Nusi Quero has posted damaging statements about Marni Senofonte regarding non-payments for work completed.

Faith Evans is going ahead with her divorce from Stevie J.

 

The singer was back in court to move her divorce forward only weeks after the music producer issued a public apology where he begged for forgiveness.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Faith, 49, has turned over her financial records to Stevie, 50, including a list of her assets and debts.

 

The move is a necessary step before a divorce can be finalized.

The development comes after fans believed the two had reconciled with each other.

 

On Mother’s Day, Stevie posted a note on social media where he apologized to Faith.

 

"“I've hurt you, disrespected you and humiliated you in front of the world," he wrote.

 

He continued: "From this day forward, I promise to listen to your feelings and be more delicate with your heart.

"I also promise to build you up even more & to communicate daily with you, respect you and love on you until you're as happy as you were when we got married."

 

Stevie claimed he had "learned my lesson" and said he "NEVER" wanted to live without Faith.

 

He said, "God knows I’m a better man with you and I’m asking you to find it in your heart to forgive me and allow me to rebuild our trust."

 

It looks like the apology did little to mend their relationship with Faith back in court.

The couple got married in 2018 and filed for divorce in November 2021 following 3 years of marriage citing "irreconcilable differences." 

 

Sources said the couple’s relationship has been rocky since the start.
