Frank Lampard took off Alex Iwobi interestingly since February… so how does the new exhibition plunge influence his situation in our rankings?

Eberechi Eze replaced Alex Iwobi last week however did he unite with Precious stone Castle confronting Leicester City and Wolverhampton Vagabonds somewhat recently?

In West London, Straight to the point Onyeka began two games for Brentford interestingly this season when the Honey bees went head to head with Brighton and Hove Albion and Chelsea.

5Joe Aribo

Aribo has responded with two strong performances since that torrid afternoon against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

The Southampton attacking midfielder played in the 1-1 draw against West Ham United and was key in the Saints’ midweek success over a Bournemouth side that were on the longest unbeaten run in the league heading into Wednesday’s meeting.

Aribo and his teammates picked up a 1-0 win to keep their first clean sheet of the season.

The Super Eagle rises from the previous position of fifth.

4Alex Iwobi

The last couple of games have not been kind to Iwobi. The Everton man was manacled by Frank Lampard’s tactics at Tottenham Hotspur and a disappointing showing in Wednesday’s outing at Newcastle saw him replaced after 72 minutes, ending his extended run of 90-minute appearances since late February.

Having been supplanted by Eberechi Eze last time out, Iwobi drops from second place this week.

3Dominic Solanke

Solanke’s shooting may have been off-kilter in the 1-0 defeat by Southampton in midweek, but he still turned in an encouraging performance.

Bournemouth’s go-to forward had a hand in both goals in the 2-2 draw at Fulham, taking his goal involvements to three in as many appearances.

2Michael Olise

Iwobi’s underwhelming week sees Olise supplant the Everton man who previously occupied second spot.

The wide playmaker assisted Eberechi Eze’s leveller against Wolves on Tuesday and fashioned a staggering five opportunities in the turnaround.

1Eberechi Eze

Whenever Eze scores, Palace do not lose.

The Eagles attacking midfielder scored a header to level proceedings against Wolves and was instrumental in the move that saw Wilfried Zaha score the winner with 20 minutes remaining.

Iwobi seemed to have a stranglehold on top spot but Eze has not only overtaken the Everton man but has also consolidated with another prominent showing against managerless Wolves.
