Catholic priest, Reverend Father Pius Nkuda of Saint Anthony’s Parish, Ikot Ubo Akama in the Diocese of Uyo ecapes death in a road crash at East West Road axis of Ikot Akpaden in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

The man of God escaped unhurt not even a scratch on his body in an accident that badly damaged his car and another in a high speed from Ikot Oyoro-Eastern Obolo.


The driver was escaping from soldiers who were stationed at the Ikot Akpaden Junction near Akwa Ibom State University for the presidential and National Assembly elections.

The election starts at 8:30am in the morning. Voters were already there with their Permanent Voter Card (PVC). Unit 5 in Southern Iman Ward 4 in Etinan L.G.A had total accredited of 63 and unit 12 total accredited of 137 which the total was 200 accredited voters. PDP and APC are the leading parties.
